2020 was a strange time for everyone and after years of professionally making custom furniture with other people it became time to stop and figure out how to do it on my own. What began as full time stay at home dad with weekends in the shop grew into a renewed understanding of what these object and techniques are, and what place they hold in the current world. Nome Furniture is a venture to keep craft alive, to support a family with ethical labor, and prove that better things, less often is a path forward.
